Climbing up the hill there is a road leading to the left that takes you to the Red Rocks and Pointe Baptiste Beach. The Red Rocks are magnificent. Hard red clay cliffs softly sculpted by wind and sea plunge down to the water below. From one area you can look down upon Calibishie and up the coast to Vielle Casse. From another point you can see a black sand beach and next to it the white sand of Pointe Baptiste Beach, a truly beautiful place and a favorite spot for families to spend time on weekends and holidays. The coral reefs along this part of the coastline lend themselves to snorkeling and if you want, you can try your hand at catching your own lobster.
