Continuing down the road there is another lovely beach called Hampstead. Once again it is hard to find the path and quite isolated so a guide is recommended. As you come towards Calibishie you will notice small roads leading up into the hills. These are called feeder roads and wind their way up past the agricultural areas into the forest. There are spectacular views from here as you look out over the mountains, towards the sea and the French islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique. Excellent for hiking along with windfall fruit to sustain you.
