Continuing east you will soon reach the main road and heading left you will pass through the village of Anse du Mai. There is a small customs and port here from which the men go out in 18' wooden boats carrying goods and produce across the channel to Guadeloupe. It is a pretty spot and you can always find a place for a cool drink and refreshment.
