The apartments sit 100 feet above the beautiful village of
Calibishie, Dominica, on the Calibishie Ridge. Each of the
five units is newly constructed and features four rooms, kitchen,
living room, dining room and bathroom. Each fully furnished
unit features a rear balcony off the bedroom which overlooks
a banana and coconut field. The front verandah overlooks the
village itself, the breathtaking beaches of Calibishie Cove,
the nearby islands of Guadeloupe and Marie Galante, the natural
rock formations known as Hells Gate, and the Morne Aux Diables

Pointe
Baptiste
Built by the Napier family in the 1930's as a private home,
Pte. Baptiste Guest house has maintained the gracious style
of the past. There are three main bedrooms, kitchen, a dining
room, sitting room and library all containing period furniture.
A large verandah looks down on the beauty of Pte. Baptiste Beach
and the Red Rocks just beyond. In the distance you can see the
French Islands of Guadaloupe, Marie Galante and les Saints.
The main house can sleep six to eight people and a small guest
cottage on the property can sleep two more. Maid service and
a cook are provided in the main house to give you the luxury
that you deserve. You are within a short walk of both a white
and black sand beach as well as the village of Calibishie and
in the evening you can relax in the beautiful gardens and let

Sea
Cliff Cottages
Situated on a country lane overlooking the sea and island below,
these five cottages are the perfect answer to the more independant
tourist who wants to experience the true island life.
On over three acres of land, with palms, flowers and fruit trees,
the breeze and sound of the surf below provide the background
for complete relaxation.
Each of the cottages is of a different size , from studio to
two bedrooms and slightly different design. All have a complete
kitchen/ dining area, sitting room, balcony facing the sea,
outdoor furnture for dining, solar hot water, free wifi, and
cell phone. There is a washing machine for communal use and
two of the cottages have their own washing macines as well.
All but the studio have cable TV and CD players.
Comfortable and airy with cathedral ceilings and lots of windows
to take advantage of the ocean breeze the cottages are designed
to be your home away from home in the Caribbean. Hodges beach
and river are right below us and Point Baptiste beach and the
village about a twenty minute walk.
Watch the moon rise over the sea ,shimmering on the palms from

Veranda
View
Verandah View is named for the deep verandah and sun deck that
affords a sweeping view of the bay. It makes a great place to
dine or relax. Step off the verandah to get some sand between
your toes or take a dip in the sea. Verandah View's NEW proprietor,
Hermien Kuis is an avid cook and provides breakfast each day.
Lunch and diner are available by request. There are beautiful
grounds for your enjoyment. Two comfortable rooms are available,

Blow Estate
Wind Blow Estate is a luxurious private villa built on a mountainside
overlooking the sea and the village of Calibishie. Wind Blow

The newly constructed Hodgesview Cottage is located on a quiet
road overlooking the Hodges River Valley and the ocean. Two
bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two singles, and
a livingroom futon will comfortably accommodate up to six people.
Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. A full kitchen equipped
with dishes, utensils, toaster, and coffee maker will allow
you the option of preparing your own meals. Telephone service
is provided for local calls and temporary Internet access may
be arranged by the guest through the local communication company.
The approximate 1000 sq/ft (85sq.m) living space includes a
balcony with a spectacular view of mountains and ocean.
You can enjoy a comfortable 15 minute walk to Hodges Beach for

Getting To
The Nature Isle
Dominica can be
reached by regularly scheduled commercial flights or by
ferry service from the neighbouring islands of Guadaloupe,
Martinique and St. Lucia. Although there are no direct international
flights to Dominica, most visitors fly to one of the major
hubs in the eastern Caribbean, Antigua, Barbados or Guadaloupe,
then transfer to a regional carrier such as American Eagle,
LIAT or Air Guadaloupe to complete their journey. Be sure
to tell your travel agent you want to go the Melville Hall
