Pointe Baptiste
Built by the Napier family in the 1930's as a private home, Pte.
Baptiste Guesthouse has maintained the gracious style of the past.
There are three main bedrooms, kitchen, a dining room, sitting room
and library all containing period furniture. A large verandah looks
down on the beauty of Pte. Baptiste Beach and the Red Rocks just beyond.
In the distance you can see the French Islands of Guadeloupe, Marie
Galante and les Saints. The main house can sleep six to eight people
and a small guest cottage on the property can sleep two more. Maid
service and a cook are provided in the main house to give you the luxury
that you deserve. You are within a short walk of both a white and black
sand beach as well as the village of Calibishie and in the evening you
can relax in the beautiful gardens and let echoes of past years fill your

Sea Cliff Cottages
Perched on a hillside overlooking the sea these four cottages are
your "home away from home" in Dominica. The cottages are set on two
acres of land amidst flowers, hummingbirds, coconut palms, and fruit
trees. Each cottage is of a different size but they are all equipped
with full kitchens, bathrooms, sitting and dining areas and verandahs
facing the sea. Private and peaceful, you are within easy walking distance
from several beaches, river bathing, the village of Calibishie, and many

Veranda View
Verandah View is named for the deep verandah and sun deck that affords
a sweeping view of the bay. It makes a great place to dine or relax.
Step off the verandah to get some sand between your toes or take a dip
in the sea. Verandah View's NEW proprietor, Hermien Etienne-Kuis is an avid
cook and provides breakfast each day. Lunch and diner are available by request.
There are beautiful grounds for your enjoyment. Two comfortable rooms are

Wind Blow Estate
Wind Blow Estate is a luxurious private villa built on a mountainside
overlooking the sea and the village of Calibishie. Wind Blow is available
as a complete 4-bed/4-bath accommodation with room to sleep up to 14
guests. For singles, couples or smaller groups, Wind Blow's three levels
are designed to function as independent villas, each offering total

Hodgesview Cottage
The newly constructed Hodgesview Cottage is located on a quiet road
overlooking the Hodges River Valley and the ocean. Two bedrooms, one
with a double bed and one with two singles, and a livingroom futon will
comfortably accommodate up to six people. Each bedroom has its own
ensuite bathroom. A full kitchen equipped with dishes, utensils, toaster,
and coffee maker will allow you the option of preparing your own meals. Telephone
service is provided for local calls and temporary Internet access may be
arranged by the guest through the local communication company. The
approximate 1000 sq/ft (85sq.m) living space includes a balcony with
a spectacular view of mountains and ocean.
You can enjoy a comfortable 15 minute walk to Hodges Beach for a
swim or take a stroll in to the Village of Calibishie for groceries.

Getting To The Nature Isle
Dominica can
be reached by regularly scheduled commercial flights or by ferry service
from the neighbouring islands of Guadeloupe, Martinique and St. Lucia.
Although there are no direct international flights to Dominica, most
visitors fly to one of the major hubs in the eastern Caribbean, Antigua,
Barbados or Guadeloupe, then transfer to a regional carrier such as American
Eagle, LIAT, BWIA, Air Guadeloupe, Windward Island Air to complete
their journey. Be sure to tell your tarvel agent you want to go the
Melville Hall Airport.
